Burden's Down Foundation

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Burden’s Down Foundation, also known as our ‘Burden’s Down Network’ is a community of both individuals and businesses who have a heart for families affected by abuse and addiction. These groups donate time, services, materials, food and resources to help us help those in need of recovery who may not be able to afford the help otherwise. Our goal, for each of our residents, is to provide 6 months of paid treatment, therapy, housing, meals, job placement and activities to those in recovery at no cost so they can focus on their recovery and reunite with their families and re-enter their community as an asset rather than a liability.

OUR NEEDS

Currently, we have 7 properties (in Knoxville), TN in which we house women in recovery and provide space for them to recover and parent without the pressures. This project takes time to develop and partners like you to participate. We are a Non-Profit, 501c3 organization and are in need of the following items to better serve our program:

THE BURDENS DOWN NETWORK

We have a growing list of Network participants, comprised of individuals, Churches, businesses, treatment providers, non-profits, counselors, etc. to serve our residents with their time, resources and/or materials to help ensure the success of the residents in our program.

HOW CAN I BE A PART OF THE BURDENS DOWN NETWORK?

We love the idea of growing our network and are constantly looking for partners that have a heart for helping others. Especially those who have been affected by the grips of addiction. Whether your donation be through speaking, donating food or helping volunteer, we ask all our partners to be consist as possible with what they are able to contribute as the success of our program is built around strong partnership. All available parties should call 865-585-8585 or email BurdensDownProject@gmail.com
